Mozart's House (Mozart-Wohnhaus)
Even though he thought the people of Salzburg were provincial and dull, they have still nevertheless embraced him as their own prodigal son. His house/residence is slightly better than his birth home although they are very similar.

Augustiner Beer Hall
Perfect after returning from the Ice Cave Excursion. Found in the local monastery the amber liquid brewed here is gods own nectar. Poured into 1lt clay steins and enjoyed in the surroundings of an authentic Austrian beer hall.

Hohensalzburg Fortress
The largest preserved fortress in central Europe. Dating from the 11th century, it offers an insight into the lives of the people in that era. Also brilliant views over Salzburg. Easily accessible via the funicular.

Sound of Music Tour
No visit to Salzburg is complete without seeing where the Sound of Music was set, including Mondsee Cathedral where the film wedding between Maria and the Baron took place.

Ice Caves Excursion
The ice caves will not disappoint! Located 1700m high the visitor will be guided through 1km of breathtaking caves. The journey commences with a cable car trip, then 700 steps to the mouth of the cave. Wear comfortable shoes & dress warmly as temperatures are below freezing. Guided by the light of miner's lanterns that beautifully illuminate the ice formations provide a truly unforgettable experience.

Eagles Nest Tour
Visit the infamous 'Eagles Nest way up in the Bavarian Alps above Berchtesgaden. Take the bus ride along the steep rock walls and deep gorges and enjoy breathtaking views across the Alps. See the place where Hitler once lived and held meetings, which was also the former Nazi party's Southern headquarters.
