Paris Guide - City Map - Top Attractions - Accommodation
One of the most famous cities in the world, Paris is the capital of France and a symbol of glamour, romance and history.
In one visit it would be impossible to appreciate everything about this wonderful city. Do make time on your visit to queue to get to the top of the Eiffel Tower, the view is fantastic. At night it dominates the Parisian skyline from most angles. The Louvre Museum can also have long queues to enter and more than one visit is essential, the two most popular sights are Leonardo's Mona Lisa and the Venus de Milo from the Hellenistic Age. Also visit and climb to the top of the Arc de Triomphe, again the views are incredible and you can count the 12 avenues radiating from the Arc. Walk along the river to the beautiful Notre Dame Cathedral and explore the Latin Quarter - there are some lovely restaurants here, where you can enjoy a romantic meal and savour your first evening in the City of Light.
