Lauterbrunnen is located at the foot of the mighty and world-famous Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau Mountains in the valley of 70 waterfalls. The world famous train trip to the "Top of Europe", the highest railway station in Europe, starts from Lauterbrunnen. Jungfraujoch
The "Top of Europe" excursion takes you to one of the highest points in Europe! The massive viewing platform outside looks out over spectacular scenary - snow capped peaks, quaint swiss villages & glaciers are a breathtaking sight.

Trummelbach Falls
These mighty glacier waterfalls are inside the mountain - 20,000 litres are water per second corkscrew down through the mountain creating a spectacular sight & deafening roar!

Schilthorn
The resturaunt made especially for the James Bond movie "On Her Majesty's Secret Service. Panoramic views of Jungfrau range. Can bungy jump 180 metres out of cable car cabin.

Mountain Bike Hire
Catch the cable car up to Murren with your bike and cycle back down. Try the mountain view trail or through the beautiful flower trail. All paths are well marked and sign-posted.

Wengen
Take the train up to Wengen, a beautiful little swiss village. Complete with hotels, cafes and pubs.

Interlaken
Take the train down to Interlaken in the valley below. This beautiful lake town offers a wide range of adventure sports, including canyoning.

We are family owned and have been accommodating adventure travellers and campers since 1960. In winter we are in close proximity to all pistes on both sides of the valley. Directions: Take a train to Interlaken Ost (East), then change to the Lauterbrunnen train. Once there take the local "yellow" bus (opposite the train station) just tell the driver Schützenbach. For late arrivals (after 20:00) please call hostel!!
