Day 1: Dublin - Killarney
Pass the River Liffey on the way to Cashel, explore the amazing Michelstown Caves, then we head through the Golden Vale to Blarney in the rebel county of Cork.
Day 2: Killarney - Ennis
Hold onto your hats because today we'll visit the awesome Cliffs of Moher. After crossing the mighty Shannon river we'll spend the morning at these towering giants with the Atlantic ocean crashing below us. Hike for a while or just sit and take in the views across Galway Bay, the Aran Islands and Connemara - stunning! After lunch we'll explore the weird and magical world of the Burren - Ireland's lunar landscape and home to ancient tombs, fairies and leprechauns! Our stop for the night is Galway - Ireland's cultural capital and festival city.
Day 3: Ennis - Galway
Hold onto your hats because today we'll visit the awesome Cliffs of Moher. After lunch we'll explore the weird and magical world of the Burren - Ireland's lunar landscape and home to ancient tombs, fairies and leprechauns! Our stop for the night is Galway - Ireland's cultural capital and festival city.
Day 4: Galway - Inis Mor (Aran Islands)
We spend a whole day and night on Inis Mor - the largest of the Aran Islands and made famous by Father Ted. Inis Mor (only 9 miles long by 2 miles wide or 10 by 3 depending on who you talk to!) has over 3000 miles of stone walls! The locals here are fluent Gaelic speakers and you'll be free to explore the island at your leisure. You can hike around the island or even better fun - explore the island by bike or even tandem! You can't miss the awe-inspiring fortress of Dun Aengus - a 3000 year old ring fort perched on the edge of a 300 foot cliff. After an Atlantic sunset, spend the night chatting with islanders in the local pubs or sitting on a stone wall gazing at the stars - unforgettable.
Day 5: Inis Mor - Derry
Today we make our way through Connemara and into the spectacular Doolough Valley with a lake as dark as its history. We head along the surfy coast of Co. Sligo as we make for the far reaches of Co. Donegal. Along the way we'll see Knock na Ri - a lonely mount where an ancient Celtic queen lies entombed. For the romantics we'll pay a visit to W.B Yeats' grave under the shadow of Ben Bulben. Then its time to head over the border where you heard stories of a troubled past. We spend the night on a farm overlooking Europe's highest sea cliffs - Slieve League.
Day 7: Derry - Belfast
We travel along the stunning Antrim coastline to get to Dunluce Castle, The Giant's Causeway and Carrick a Rede Rope Bridge. Then it's across the border to Derry city for a walk along the Bloody Sunday trail to learn of a troubled past and to see the political murals. (winter months).
Day 8: Beflast - Dublin
This morning you'll take a Black Cab tour of Belfast city. You'll visit the Loyalist and Republican heartlands of the city where you'll learn about the Troubles and sign the Peace Wall. See the political murals and explore the underbelly of the city in your taxi with a real Belfast local at the wheel. Leaving the politics behind we'll take you for lunch along the magnificent Cooley peninsula - land of a legendary war and lost heroes. Where better to have a last lunch than in Carlingford, a village that specialises in Guinness and oysters! En route back to Dublin we'll stop off to see a ruined monastery with High Celtic Crosses and finish off at the site of the Battle of the Boyne.

Day 1: Dublin - Westport
We start by immersing you in myth and legend at The Hill of Tara, seat of the High Kings and a Pagan Stronghold of ancient Ireland. Next it's off to Kilbeggan, home to one of the oldest licensed Whiskey Distilleries in the world. After sampling the good stuff it's then on to Ireland's pilgrimage town of Knock to clear your conscience! The Atlantic town of Westport is a perfect place to sit back and enjoy the 'Ceol agus Craic' (that's music and good times to us!)
Day 2: Westport - Galway
En route to Kylemore Abbey, enjoy the spectacular scenery of Connemara, from our own Holy Mountain, Croagh Patrick, to Doolough Valley, with a lake as dark as its history. Walk through the brooding mountains of wild and rugged Connemara, or picnic on one of its beautiful white sandy beaches, before relaxing in the tiny capital of the region, Clifden. Next it's on to Roundstone for a bit of Bodhran making. Tonight we stay in beautiful Galway City, where you can explore its maze of colourful medieval streets and soak up its lively cultural scene.
Day 3: Galway - Doolin
Start the day with a beautiful scenic drive along Galway Bay & Kinvarra Bay and into the heart of the Burren's lunar limestone landscape. Wonder at the 5000 year old portal tomb 'Pol na Brone Dolmen' before a coastal drive to a beautiful beach for a game of Gaelic footie! Relax over a pint of the black stuff before seeing the awe inspiring Cliffs of Moher. Doolin, home of traditional Irish music, is our overnight stop tonight and is sure to be a night to remember.
Day 4: Doolin - Killarney
Cross the mouth of the Shannon river on the Tarbert Ferry down to 'The Kingdom of Ireland', Kerry. Check out Dingle, a fishing village home to Fungi the Dolphin!; Journey to the end of the Dingle Peninsula and enjoy beautiful views across to the Blasket Islands; Explore Ireland's lush Southwest - the mountains of Kerry, palm trees, beaches and stone walls! Catch a beautiful sunset en-route to Killarney, a bustling wee Irish town.
Day 5: Killarney - Dublin
From the mountains of Kerry we Journey through the picturesque valleys and the pretty hills of West Cork- the cradle of the Irish War of Independance where you'll hear tales of Michael Collins and the old IRA. Kiss the Blarney Stone and discover fairy lore. Walk the wishing steps, get the gift of the gab and enjoy the magic and scullduggery of Blarney Castle. Be inspired by the tower of Babel formation in the Mitchelstown Caves. Wonder at the dramatic spectacle of the Rock of Cashel, a church fortress overlooking the fertile plains of Munster. Then it's through Tipperary and on past the stud farms of Kildare as we make for the Fair City - Dublin. There may even be time for a last pint in a hidden pub along the way !

Day 1: Dublin - Doolin
Leaving Dublin along the Liffey we head for the wild west. Kickstart your adventure with a tipple at the oldest licensed whiskey distillery in the world; Cleanse your soul at Clonmacnoise, an ancient monastic city on the shores of the Shannon; Hear tall tales of warriors and wenches at Polnabrone Dolmen before taking in the dramatic views at the Cliffs of Moher - the most famous cliffs in Europe. Tonight we stay at a farmhouse on the Atlantic coast in Doolin - the home of traditional Irish music.
Day 2: Doolin - Killarney
Check out the waves at Ireland's surfing capital before heading south along the windswept coast of Clare. Take in the spectacular views along the Dingle peninsula, a magical place of unique beauty, beaches, palm trees, stone walls and native Irish speakers!; Spot the Sleeping Giant and the Three Sisters as you walk to the edge of the world!; Then it's the drama and spectacle of the Kerry Mountains before settling in for the night. Our overnight stop is bustling Killarney town, where a night of storytelling and dancing awaits!
Day 3: Killarney - Dublin

Day 1: Dublin - Derry
Immerse yourself in Ireland's historic past at the impressive Trim Castle - a twelfth century Anglo Norman fortress which some would say was where the Troubles all began .... back then. Up next is the awe-inspiring prehistoric tombs at Lough Crew - which are older than the pyramids of Giza! Then why not relax over a pint or take a stroll in picturesque Enniskillen - a pretty island town on Lough Erne, just over the northern border, infamous for troubles during the 80s. Then it's onto Derry City for a night of traditional music and song.
Day 2: Derry - Belfast
A beautiful coastal drive takes us straight to Dunluce Castle, thought to be one of the most romantic and picturesque of Irish castles. Find your own space at the mysterious Giant's Causeway. With its thousands of hexagonal columns it is a source of many a legend, and on a clear day you can see right across to Scotland! Not for the faint hearted, the next stop is the Carrick-a-rede Rope Bridge* swaying 80ft above the ocean. Enjoy the beautiful scenery of Antrim glens as you journey to Northern Ireland's capital city - Belfast. Party the night away in vibrant Belfast. *Rope bridge - Summer only
Day 3: Belfast - Dublin
A real eye opener - see the murals of the Falls and Shankill Road on the famous Black Cab tour of the City. Enjoy the spectacular views of the Mourne Mountains sweeping down to the sea, en-route to Carlingford. Stop off at Monasterboice for intricately carved Celtic High crosses before visiting the site of the Battle of the Boyne, crucial to Northern Ireland's History. Back to Dublin through the royal county Meath. Arrival in the fair City between 4.30pm & 5.30pm
